The researchers found 25 lexical words or 29.64% of five data that contain the contextual meanings. The result of this research are as follows: (1) related to the lexical meaning, while (2) related to the contextual meaning. After that, the songs which contain lexical and contextual meanings were selected. To obtain the data, the researchers collected the data from Elevation Worship’s Song Lyrics and from internet. This research uses a descriptive method by analyzing the research object of Elevation Worship Song Lyrics. The problem of this research are: (1) what are the lexical and contextual meaning in the Elevation Worship’s Lyrics? (2) What percentage of the lexical words that contain the contextual meaning in the “Elevation Worship’s” song? The researchers took five songs from different album. Therefore, the researchers were interested in analyzing the kinds of meaning used in Elevation Worship songs. By listening to the songs, we can get knowledge about appreciation literature and the background of the song. This research focusses on analyzing lexical and contextual meaning in Elevation worship’s song lyrics. Going through the many collocations, modifiers and appositions/adjuncts connected with Lilith, the following processes and goals are pursued: stablishing a semantic domain of Lilith, analyze its semantic variation, identify the lexical families within its sematic domain and evaluate its presence and weight in modern forms of art, media, and ideological values. The starting point of this study comes out of the results the lemma "Lilith" as a noun displays on the corpus British Web 2007 (ukWaC), henceforth ukWaC. ![]() To do so, the process chosen has been a combination of corpus analysis (Halliday, 1992), semantic analysis (Goddard, 2011), lexical analysis (Sproat, 2000) and ideological implicatures (van Dijk, 2006) with some language parsing too (Frost et al., 2008). This article analyses "Lilith" from several perspectives all of them focused on linguistics, this is, how "Lilith" as a word moves thoughts and believes, and how the way in which she is used and the figures with which she is associated reveal the insights of social values and ideology. What is more, the way in which she/it has been depicted and the various concepts and figures with which she/it has been associated, reveal what lays behind social action and social beliefs. From the very beginnings of written language, the image of Lilith has come to influence ideas and inspire arts. ![]()
